Visitors to the glassworks take a guided tour of the glassworks premises.

OPENING HOURS OF THE GLASSWORKS
Guided tours outside opening hours are possible by prior arrangement. The glass shop is open at the same time as the glassworks.
Tours of the glassworks start at the following times on each opening day of the glassworks:

The tour lasts 45 — 60 minutes
The tour includes:
- interpretation about the history of the glassworks
- tour of the generator building (until 2002 the last working lignite gas generator at least in the Czech Republic)
- tour of the unique glassworks from 1820
- tour of the downstream glassworks (blowing plant, belt furnace)
- tour of the grinding plant
- visit to the glass shop
Unique open-air museum
Glassworks Hut Jakub Tasice is a unique glassmaking museum.
Small glass production has been restored in the glassworks since 2016.
The glassworks area has been a National Cultural Monument of the Czech Republic since 2014.
Parking
When arriving at the glassworks by car, it is possible to park in the car park directly in front of the glassworks and the glass shop.
Parking capacity is limited, in case of larger events we apologize for the complications associated with parking.
Public transport
If you plan to travel to us by public transport — the bus stop Tasice is in front of the entrance to the glassworks parking lot. You can reach us by bus in the direction from Ledeč nad Sázavou or in the direction from Zbraslavice. The nearest train stations are located in Ledec nad Sázavou (10 km from Tasice) and Zbraslavice (10 km from Tasice).
Barrier-free access
All buildings in the glassworks area, which are part of the sightseeing tour, have wheelchair access, including toilet facilities.
Guide office
The guide’s office is in the middle of the glassworks area, and can be reached from the car park via a metal entrance gate after approximately 50 metres of walking.
Tickets
The group is not limited to a minimum number of visitors per tour. Visitors may purchase tickets for the tour prior to the tour, or visitors may obtain and pay the guide after the tour at the ticket office in the glass shop building.
Tour with a dog
If you are visiting us with your pet dog, you are welcome to bring it with you to the premises, however, we ask that you keep your dog on a leash.
Glass production
In the glassworks we run a small glass production. The glass furnace is not lit during the opening hours listed below. We post information about the lighting of the glass furnace on this website in the News section and on our Facebook profile.
If you are interested, you can book a fee-based glassmaking tour or a larger group of people. Please call the glassworks phone numbers or send orders to our email.
Glass shop
The glassworks shop is located directly at the parking lot in front of the glassworks. In the shop you can buy glass products from our glassworks and products of other Czech glassworks and glass artists.
We also offer small tourist souvenirs (tourist stamps, tourist cards, magnets, postcards).
